Angeliki Gourdouki

Angeliki Alexia Gkourdouki is a Legal counsel with solid commercial and civil law background and expert knowledge of European data protection laws and practices.

 

She has gained substantial experience -both in Greece and abroad- in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of data protection strategies with special attention on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and delivers pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of privacy and data protection issues in several industries and environments.

She holds a law degree from the Aristotle university of Thessaloniki and is an EU Qualified Lawyer, member of the Bar Association of Athens.

She is also a candidate in Law and Technology LLM of Tilburg University (the Netherlands) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

She has also gained the Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) from the Association for Project Management (APM) and is continuously attending several workshops and conferences on the latest trends and developments in the field of data protection.

Her interests focus on privacy, data protection and ethical implications of innovative technologies, such as Internet of Things (IoT), biometrics, smart cities, Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as predictive policing.

 

She speaks fluently Greek and English.
