Energy Law

The natural conditions in Greece are excellent for the use of renewable energies.

The Greek government published a draft national energy and climate plan in early 2019. This plan envisages increasing the share of renewable energy sources in electricity generation to 55 percent by 2030.

We advise and support our clients in the law of renewable energies in Greece.

In particular, we support you in the context of:

Confidentiality agreements,

Declarations of intent (letter of intent or memorandum of understanding),

Contract negotiations, draft contracts and contract conclusion of private law contracts, EPC contracts, insurance contracts, repair contracts,

Processing of files as part of the approval process (electricity generation permits, environmental permits, grid connection permits, etc.).

Implementation of legal and tax due diligence (legal and tax due diligence),

Support in the implementation of renewable energy projects (photovoltaic systems, wind farm systems, biomass systems, hydropower and solar thermal systems) from A to Z.

Legal support before the regulatory authority if necessary.
